6:15 PM of any normal day...I was just back from purshottam (unofficial canteen of GL. went there to have some snacks and do normal bakar with some of best buddies). Consumer behavior assignment was hovering over my mind (deadline was just 24 hrs away and I had to finish my part) Than unfortunately I met one of my classmate karthik kannan and he said “arey Singhal what happened for the goa. are you coming” and than I could see varun sardana (another class mate) besides him planning for the same and he asked me “Whats this Singhal… come along.. it wd be fun..”. I asked When to leave.. I got the reply “lets see.. We have a train at 9:30 PM so we can leave college at 8:00 PM”. After giving some thoughts to it, I finally decided let’s hit goa . This was the way I planned one of the wonderful trip I ever had.
Goa is undoubtedly one of the best tourist place I have ever seen. It is actually a place to be. Don’t go to goa just with the expectation of seeing foreign babes around (though you will not be disappointed in that front too :D). The seismic beauty of place will definitely reckons you up. Goa trip was not just about the wonderful beaches, chilling climate or different culture but it was about the peace and experience it brought to the mind. It was a truly hushing up experience. By reaching over there we rented two bikes and then we toured our entire voyage on them. I actually took Honda Activa instead of a bike and driving on it in the chilling waves of goa was like a flying it in the open air experience.
Initially I thought what we will be doing there for 3 days but finally I found it was a very short period for goa. Infact, one need a good number of days to explore the entire place. We could visit only four places – Anjuna Beach, Arambol Beach, Chiracol fort and chapora fort (where DCH was shot). Seeing sunset from chapora fort was the best thing I could see in the entire journey. You just imagine a golden glittering treasure dipping in to the absolute pure water. I sat on the wall of the fort for about an hour to watch it out.
I could manage to talk to some of the foreigners about their experience with the place. One of the Israeli told me that in his country Goa is more popular than India. Infact, everybody knows about it and wants to tour it.
If I explains the entire journey than it would come out as an unending story but with my exhilarating experience I would certainly suggest everyone to visit this place atleast for once.
